Project Description
A global financial institution is introducing a new Human Resources information system and simultaneously adjusts various internal processes. Users of the new system are all employees worldwide.
The project decides that the most commonly used processes are to be trained with video tutorials. These are short non-interactive learning videos, in which a speaker demonstrates various program functions step by step.
As it is foreseeable that some last minute changes will have to be incorporated into the training and that there will remain very little time for postproduction, Innobrain sets up a flexible development methodology which is tailored to the project needs. This particularly takes into account the requirements of a multilingual production (application language and narration).
In a first step, a storyboard and a prototype are created in English for each topic, which are presented to various stakeholders for approval. After approval or correction follow the translations. While these are in course, the video material is created. Immediately thereafter, the recording of the narration takes place. Finally, the post production is carried out.
Thanks to this specific work methodology, even the Chinese and Japanese videos can be produced quickly and without further help of native speakers. They are published on the intranet within the specified time.
